**Big News from My friend & CT Member Dawn**

With A LOT of deep thought, taking almost two month to really make sure and contacted everyone who I needed to, I have decided to retire from designing and selling my kits in digital store. As with everyone, life is always changing and I feel it is time to focus on what my time is best spent on and removing any of the stress from my life I can. I just feel that there is a lot that goes into design quality product , much more than most really realize. And I just don’t have the drive, the focus and the will that it takes to be a GOOD designer. Maybe I am just burnt out or my daily life has changed so that I don’t have the extra time it takes to be a quality designer. There is a lot that goes into a quality product and with the  standards changing all the time, I have just decided to RETIRE and return to the real passion I have with digital scrapbooking, which is Layout Artist.
I want you to know that  I am not leaving SCRAPLAND by no means. I plan to return digital scrapping to being my hobby and passion to being a layout artist.  I have already REJOINED one of my Creative Teams with STACEY’S SCRAPS and so excited and honored to be joining Vicki Parker aka A WORK IN PROGRESS. Along with staying with Denise, Loucee and Charlie Teams, which is kind of one TEAM and I so enjoy working with them. I have been with them for some time now.

~ Sad and Exciting News~

Firstly the sad news..a couple of weeks ago , Bunny(owner of DSV), emailed all the designers about her hard decision to close DSV. I was sad to read about this news but understand her reasons. So with DSV closing( and me doing just CU mostly these days) I had to make a big decision. My decision was to either to quite design all together or find a NEW store to house my designs. I also had to factor in the fact that my Photography Business has really taken off and my wish for this to continue. I believe that the desire to produce top notch CU products is still there, so I decided to continue and find a NEW store. I had numerous wonderful offers from a number of stores ( thankyou everyone that emailed, i really really appreciate it), but there was really only 1 decision. I have accepted a Design position at DigiridooScraps. I feel at home because the site has Aussie roots(like me ) and has a wonderful, welcoming bunch of ladies working there. I am so excited to now be part of this fabulous group and hope my fans enjoy this place as much as I do.
